Nothing is static. Change is the only constant. Everything is interconnected and unfolds according to causes and conditions, often in unexpected ways. We can live at ease in this flow when we are in touch with what is true, when we are aware of our connectedness, and when in direct contact with experience, primarily experience of the senses. We open to the rich potentialities of every moment, the interconnectedness of everything, and to the innate wholesomeness of the universe. We find freedom, a space where joy is a likely possibility and the heart is naturally loving. As life unfolds our relationship to all experience changes. It is from this space of freedom, contentment, and joy in life that we can choose conscious participation in our evolutionary process. We fuel a dynamic spiritual unfolding when we reach a realization of the insubstantiality of what we believe to be true, when we see that both our doubts and certainties need to be challenged. Understanding insubstantiality does not mean that things do not exist at all. Instead it invites us to a looser perception and to an awareness that we are each conditioned by our life experiences. This conditioning contributes to our uniqueness but also limits our view and colors all of our perceptions. We can learn to widen our perceptions and open to what is most real, to vitality, energy, enthusiasm, and joy. By working with our own minds we are making a powerful contribuion to our culture, to the planet, to our universe. We impact powerfully the one being we can effect and thereby influence every other interaction and its further unfolding. |
