Meditating Mental Health Professionals Revisiting Mindfulness
Meditation is possible without mindfulness.
Mindfulness is possible without wisdom
Expand your capacity for wisdom and mindfulness!
November 21, 2008 11AM - 1PM 4100 Westheimer, Suite 233, 77025
The term mindfulness has become so popular it is losing its focused meaning. With experience we begin to discover the endless potentialities of practice and the potential integrity of a developing and mature mindfulness. We find that meditation through mindfulness and awareness throughout the day is not just relaxing and healing, not just comfortable and satisfying, but transformative.
Using Mindfulness for remedial purposes we focus on the rich psychological benefits and skills of meditation, but a mature meditation practice can change not only the way we think and behave, but can actually change our brain and the way the mind works.
In this course we explore experientially the depth of meaning and limitless potential of mindfulness for healing and for the transformation and expansion of a healthy mind and body.
