In becoming intimate with our own experience, with the subtleties and nuances of the experience of being a body, we can open to a wider awareness and deeper understanding - a realization of our connectedness with all of life, with the beauty of things as they really are.
This course is appropriate for those new to insight and mindfulness and as a deepening course for those who already have meditation experience. In the January session we will use the first chapter of Being Prayer-Transforming Consciousness as our basic text. If you do not have the book, you can download the first chapter Coming Home to Our Senses - available online at citta101.org/nutshell/edocs.html.
The course is available at two different times. All sessions will be held at Spectrum Center, 4100 Westheimer Suite # 233
Houston, TX 77027. Please indicate session[s] you will attend.
