Biography:
Marlo Schwartz, an occupational therapist by profession, has a committed daily practice that includes formal practice with breath, metta, and body work, as well as integration of mindful awareness in informal settings - daily life and all relational situations. She has been working with Mary since 2004, including participating in first mentoring training, completing the Creating Your Life course, and attending retreats and many meditation courses.
I am a single female who is also a caregiver for my mother, along with two dogs and two cats. I have an adult son and am also a grandmother of two, a baby granddaughter and toddler grandson. I have lived in northwest Houston for about 25 years. I have worked as an occupational therapist with a variety of populations in many settings over the course of my 35+ year vocation, but most recently in education and pediatric outpatient settings. My disclaimer is 'that I don't necessarily agree with myself', and those who know me often see me as a 'low key' but contradictory self. Which is okay with me.
Marlo lives on the north side of Houston and is also available via Skype.
Hours: To be determined in collaboration and with student need.
